| The team from HMP Kirkham and Thorn Cross in Warrington are regular exhibitors at the Southport Show, and they always have a stunning display of their gardening prowess, from flowers and shrubs, to fruits and veg. |
Just where they get their ideas, is beyond me, but their clever visual tricks with pristine fruit and choice vegetables ensure that their display is always worth a visit. |

Sefton Council's indoor extravaganza took the Fine Art theme of the show and developed 4 views from it in one display, all centred around a stunning water feature of giant facsimile-copper oil paint tubes, spilling water into a terracotta receptacle.
This first view features Fine Art in Metal. |

Other views represented Fine Art in Paint and Fine Art in Film, although the significance of all this was lost on an Art Philistine such as myself.
The final view represents Fine Art in Stone. |
