Hi. My name is Karen, or Mrs Taz, or even Crafty Karen.

I'm 36 years old, and the mother of three. I was born and brought up in Leigh, Lancashire, and still retain my distinctive 'Leyther' accent. For those of you familiar with that part of the world, I'm a 'Westleyther', born un bred on Briar Grove. :~)
I was given the nickname of Mrs Taz many years ago by a friend who thought my energy and temper were identical to that of Mrs Taz, the Tasmanian Devil's wife, and it's stuck with me ever since.

The Modern Mrs Taz
The New Mrs Taz If you hadn't guessed already, my favourite colour is purple.
I like using the computer to play games. My favourites are "Magic Carpet" and "Heroes of Might and Magic"
My main interests are my VW camper van and all things connected with dragons. I'm on my 3rd VW van now, I've had the current one, a 1973 Type 2 Devon conversion, since 1990, but I miss my first bus, a 1966 Split Screen Westfalia conversion that had belonged to a friend of cormaic's family from new.
I collect prints and paintings of dragons, particularly those by my favourite artist, Peter Pracownik, as well as sculptures from the "Enchantica" range.

My favourite football team is Manchester United, which upsets all the Liverpool fans that live in the Hall, but at least we've won the Premiership...and more than once!
I like growing indoor plants, and I've recently started to grow my own cacti and lithops from seeds. I have a few Bonsai trees in production, but progress is very slow.
