Hiya, I'm Jasper Plant-Trasher and I'm nearly 14 weeks old and I'm a tom kitten and I'm bursting with energy and I like chasing and running and pouncing and climbing shrubs and bushes and jumping into flower beds and ambushing Charlie Cat and chewing the wires that go into the music box machine and walking along the top of fences and trying to catch the flying things that eat from the nut-cages in the garden and exploring dark holes and, and ,and, lots of other things too! Jasper after his swim I don't like the moving rattling boxes that the humans ride around in on the big road, and I HATE getting wet. I fell into the pond once, when I was trying to sniff one of those underwater orange things, and it was horrible and cold and wet and the humans had to dry me with a noisy hot-air making machine, and everyone was laughing at me It was horrid!.

When I'm not playing in the garden, trying to climb the big sticks that Cormaic ties smelly flowers to, I like sleeping on top of the little greenhouses he keeps on the windowsill, but, if he sees me, he shouts and chases me and I have to hide behind the big plant pots. He's always shouting at me, just because I like attacking those droopy red flowers that he makes such a fuss of, but he's rubbish at chasing, coz he can't go fast enough to catch me. Jasper Kitten

Jasper with his siblings Charlie Cat lives here, too, but he's not much fun coz he doesn't want to play very much coz he's dead old and grown up and things, but he likes chasing me when I eat his tuna. Charlie doesn't like it when I go into his sleeping room, and once, he scratched me really bad across my nose, and it was really sore for days and I was very brave, but not as brave as when I fell out of the big tree when I was chasing the furry nut-eater with a big tail. I nearly caught it, but it was dead good at jumping through trees, and, when I tried to do it, I missed the branch and fell all the way to the ground below.

I sleep in The Teenager's room when it goes dark, and I'm not allowed out until the next morning, because Charlie gets cross with me if I wander around at night looking for something to play with. I used to have special food, when I first left my mum, but Mrs Taz says I can have the same as Charlie, now that I'm growing-up a bit. I get milk with my breakfast, but Charlie isn't allowed to have any coz it makes him sick. Ha-ha-ha!
I have to go now, coz the wet stuff has stopped falling out of the sky and I can go and check out that new hole I found in the rocekery. I think there's something hiding down there!
